The enormous palms of an eight-year-old Indian Kaleem child have surprised doctors. From palm to middle fingertip, each of Kaleem's hands measures up to 33 centimeters and weighs up to 8 kilograms. This deformity caused me numerous life difficulties. The infant lacked the ability to clothe himself or tie his shoelaces. In addition, Kaleem did not dare attend school because her classmates ridiculed and tormented her so often.
Despite her desire to heal her infant, Kaleem's family is in a very precarious financial situation. It is known that the boy's family earns only 15 USD per month. Her 45-year-old father, Mr. Shamim, always blamed himself for his incapacity to treat his son's illness. Regardless, Kaleem was taken to a nearby clinic for examination.
The specialist stated that the boy's condition is extremely rare and that its cause is unknown. Dr. Krishan Chugh, the director of the Pediatrics Department at the Fortis Research Institute (India), stated that it was highly likely that the boy had lymphangioma or extra histiocytoma.
The good news is that both of these diseases are curable. Until he personally assessed the infant, however, he was unable to reach a conclusion. This provided Kaleem's parents with renewed optimism.
